Telford Waugh's relationship to Arthur and Evelyn Waugh

Judith Adamson was mistaken when writing in her book, 'Max Reinhart: A Life in Publishing' (2009 Palgrave Macmillan. ISBN 9780230236622), that Telford Waugh was Evelyn Waugh's uncle. Telford was Arthur Waugh's 2nd cousin and thus his son Evelyn Waugh's 2nd cousin once removed. Telford Waugh and Arthur Waugh are descended from the Rev. Alexander Waugh D.D. (1754–1827) as follows:

Arthur and Evelyn's descent:- Rev. Alexander Waugh DD - Rev. James Hay Waugh - Dr. Alexander Waugh - Arthur Waugh - Evelyn Waugh
