T or Th?
[edit]Why do you write Telangana Thalli when the T in Telangana (తెలంగాణ) and Thalli (తల్లి) is actually the same letter? Is it because Telangana and Telugu should have been spelled with Th, too, but weren't? The త్ of all three is the dental [t̪] that is often written as th in India, not the retroflex ట్ [ʈ] as in టమోటా (tomato). Should we add a pronunciation?
Otherwise, “thalli” ['θælaɪ] is the plural of “thallus”, i.e. the body of a moss or seaweed as opposed to plants with roots. Curryfranke (talk) 11:54, 4 December 2018 (UTC)
