This page should not be speedy deleted because...

This page should not be speedily deleted because Ted Hicks was the head of the Australian Government Defence Department for 11 years. This is one of the most important roles in Australian Defence and one of the most highly paid, respected and important roles in Australia's public administration. The Australian Dictionary of Biography have an entry for Ted Hicks, and he was knighted in 1965 for his work.Clare. (talk) 02:06, 25 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
