[edit]The information, facts and details contained in this article seem to be derived from the motion picture Murder in the Hamptons. Detail for detail, word for word, this article is just a brief explanation of the movie. I think that should be even more the reason to challenge the credibility of the information. 76.233.64.51 (talk) 10:48, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

Early life
[edit]It is very hard to get any information about Ammon's early life. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.53.53.130 (talk) 11:19, 22 June 2017 (UTC)
- The vagueness might be deliberate, caused by relatives, reluctant to admit that he was so badly behaved. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.53.53.130 (talk) 11:28, 22 June 2017 (UTC)
Merger proposal
[edit]I propose merging the articles Generosa Ammon and Daniel Pelosi into the "Murder" section of Ted Ammon or the yet-to-be-created Murder of Ted Ammon article. Per WP:PERP, Generosa Ammon and Daniel Pelosi are not notable individuals. There is little information in their articles that isn't related to their relationship with Ted Ammon or to their involvement in his murder. A merger would not cause any article-size or weighting problems in the Ted Ammon article. Mooonswimmer 22:16, 11 May 2023 (UTC)
- I agree with the proposal per the nom. Let'srun (talk) 19:20, 21 July 2023 (UTC)
- Merger complete. Klbrain (talk) 09:54, 15 October 2023 (UTC)
Unverified info in "Marriage, divorce, and death"
[edit]The statement that the Ammon Foundation received 50% of Ted's estate caught my attention; later in the article it claims Generosa received the entire estate. I don't know if that's a conflict or if information has been left out. Neither statement in the article about Generosa's inheritance was cited (I made a note). The article goes on to state that Generosa sold their jointly-owned properties. That statement is cited, so I checked it. The source, from 2002, states, "To date, Ms. Ammon Pelosi has sold four of the properties she inherited after her husband's death." It says nothing about the Foundation. Therefore I've added a "failed verification" note, as well as a "citation needed" regarding the Foundation. (Update: According to the documentary program "Dominick Dunne's Power, Privilege, and Justice", Generosa was the one who left "everything to her children and the Ammon Foundation".)
