Unsourced

The "such cold call scams have occurred as early as 2008" part near the beginning of this article is unsourced. Also, does anyone even have that source? 92.16.24.185 (talk) 12:17, 4 February 2018 (UTC)

There are sources for this in the article, but they were further down and not clearly associated with the claim. I added a couple of reference markers. The lede doesn't normally need sources since it's supposed to be a condensed version of the article, but when there are claims in the intro that aren't mentioned later it makes sense to have a source there.
