Diagram

[edit]

We need a good diagram of Albacore to go in the article. I am having horrible luck finding one, or even a good photo of that vessel in drydock that I could use as a schematic. Anyone have any ideas? Perhaps a good schematic of any teardrop-hulled sub would suffice. —Joseph/N328KF (Talk) 20:30, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I substituted photos for now, but perhaps I will do an overlay diagram of some sort. —Joseph/N328KF (Talk) 20:38, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Walter Submarines

[edit]

What about those? AFAIK they incorporated a teardrop shaped hull

Holland

[edit]

You can't just remove properly sourced material. Agreed Holland's hull is not the same as Albacore's. But the teardrop as defined in this article ("emphasizes hydrodynamic flow above all other factors") was not invented in the 1950s. Feel free to add more explanatory material if you like.
