[edit]The Army, Marines, and SOCOM don't use them in combat. They are only sent to areas already secured. So the ban on women in combat roles isn't being bypassed and they really aren't in anymore danger as they are kept away from the fighting as much as possible. They do get attached to infantry units but they don't perform infantry or SOF missions. They follow behind and can get called up as needed. If no one else does before I get some free time I will be changing the article to be in line with what these teams actually do.
- -- Ok for anyone that is wondering the person that typed the above text was me. I have made some changes and added some new info. Later I will probably re-name the article to Female Engagement Team or Cultural Support Team and include info about team Lioness and the film within the article. Also I am well aware of the fact that the #3 reference is to an article saying they are in combat while I say they are not in combat but once you read the article you will see that it says they are kept away from active combat zones and do not do combat missions while being called up only after the area is secure. — Preceding comment added by RGM-79 GM (talk • contribs) 20:29, 27 August 2011 (UTC)
