Stainless Steel Versus Brass Fittings
[edit]One of the latest trends in outdoor teak furniture is the replacement of brass fittings with stainless steel fittings. While the brass fittings my be handsome and match well with teak wood (particularly when it has been oiled), the stainless steel is considered the better material for long-term use.

Smithers of Stamford: advertising?
[edit]I have reverted the addition of references to Smithers of Stamford twice. The cited webpage is a commercial page without any discussion of "deep seating" or "teak oil". The citations appear to be an effort to insert advertising. Tachyon (talk) 11:45, 26 April 2020 (UTC)
