Discography

[edit]

There is no discography mentioned yet. I will add some selected discography, based on Roelof's critical discography.[1] --Réginald alias Meneerke bloem (To reply) 17:35, 9 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

First-draft version of 1881

[edit]

Bruckner made a first-draft version of the work in 1881, which he thereafter abandoned to compose his Symphony No. 7. In 1883, Bruckner returned to the Te Deum and made a more substantial, second version, which he finalized in 1884. I will write a more detailed paragraph on this first draft.

I will also restructure somewhat the lay-out of this page. --Réginald alias Meneerke bloem (To reply) 11:38, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hans Roelofs has provided me with a copy of a private CD with an "experimental" performance of the 1881 draft-version of the Te Deum. It is a live performance, which occurred on 07-10-2003 in Nürnberg. I find it very interesting. I have added a mention to it in the "Selected discography". --Réginald alias Meneerke bloem (To reply) 16:54, 14 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Update

[edit]

I have just made some more cleaning of the lay-out. I will later review the content according to M. Auer, U. Harten and C. van Zwol references. --Réginald alias Meneerke bloem (To reply) 08:46, 18 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Section "History" is expanded. "Discography" is updated, according to Roelofs' critical review. I will later expand the section "Setting". --Réginald alias Meneerke bloem (To reply) 12:53, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
