Correction about the cars
[edit]i see this list of cars is incorrect.
Bentley mulsanne-can't seen always,i didnt seen one of those
Chevrolet Sonic(aveo)-mostly used as family car,but not taxis
Ford Ranger- mostly taxis don't have any cargo in theirs,so i think it isn't commonly seen.sometimes, small(small as a TV or a stroller)cargo are most commonly brought. While others(refrigirators, other types of TV)are brought by FX.\
Lexus LFA - not commonly used, because of the price and its monstrous performance
Mitsubishi ASX- again,as family cars, and not taxis.but they're rarely seen
i Didn't seen any Fotons, because Foton cars are new

Return of cars used as taxicabs (UPDATED)
[edit]This article lacks something, and that is cars used as taxicabs in the Philippines.
I have seen what was previously listed here, some of them are false and inaccurate. As Wikipedia user John kaiser said, the previous listing was INCORRECT. Here is the cars that was wrongly listed:
A Bentley Mulsanne was listed as a taxicab used in the country. Funny since this is a 3rd-World Country and such a full-size luxury car can be such a pain and a very hard to run and operate. Same thing can be said as the Lexus LFA, nobody in their right mind would use a V10-powered supercar, it is so unpractical and stupid.
Pick-up trucks aren't even used as a taxicab here.
It is true that some provinces in the Philippines can use SUVs as taxicabs to deal with the harsh terrain and road conditions, but the Mitsubishi ASX isn't one of them. The price is too much high for an operator, plus it is too small. One thing taxicabs operators want in their taxicab is cargo space, this one has limited cargo space.
Although there is some truth in here:
One is wrongly listed here, and that is the Foton View vans, it should belong to the UV Express page, not here. This page is for taxicabs, not share taxis
The Chevrolet Aveo WAS used as a taxicab in some provinces. The thing is the user who made this false information did not specify/putted "in some provinces only". There are still Aveo taxis roaming around these provinces, but to clarify, the T200 sedan and hatchback was the only one used, no the later Chevrolet Sonic T300.
With that in mind, I will be updating the list of cars used as taxicabs in the country. I will be adding the list and specify where these cars are used. I will be also adding a separate ones us specifically/strictly as airport taxicabs. I will be also adding cars previously used as taxis. I live in the Philippines myself and know what cars operators mostly use.
Note that I will stay true to that facts and I will add those that are really proven used as taxicabs. I will keep put of false information and keep myself unbiased adding these cars. I will not also be adding "luxury" taxis, as far as I can remember, 8 years ago when the list was still here, there are listed various Mercedes-Benz and BMW vehicles that are said to be used as taxicabs. Well to correct these false statements, these are Premium/VIP airport service vehicles used by some Hotels and Casinos around Metro Manila.
I assure you all that I will put true and proven facts and will be held responsible adding these new content. And if I do add some cars wrongfully used as taxicabs that make the list "suspicious", I will be responsible for my actions and take the punishment, and revert my edits. That's a promise
I will be working on it as soon as I get a response, and hopefully, a green light to do so. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Renz203 (talk • contribs) 12:28, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
