This article refers to tax holidays as specific dates for business incentives. There should be an article about government issued tax incentives to businesses in exchange for meeting certain criteria. An example of this is the tax incentives offered by Kentucky to bring 4,000 jobs to Kentucky. Also, tax incentives given to environmentally friendly companies should also be discussed. I also want to chime in my POV on this matter. As far as I am concerned, a tax holiday has nothing to do with what is talked about under the 'United States' heading. For me, a tax holiday is something synonymous with a tax-break - a period of time when a company will be allowed to operate in the area of question on a reduced tax rate.
