There is no such word as "Wellemmedan" in any language (it gets two hits, in German, on Google Books - both of them being i wellemmedan, which is the usual name of the people with the prefix separated - and a bunch of Wikipedia clones on Google). The people are called the Iwellemmedan; the language is called Tawellemmet. - Lameen Souag (talk) 13:57, 9 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Brief check of recent English usage: Heath calls it "Iwellemeden dialect of Tamajak". Sudlow calls the people "Iwellemmeden" and their language "Tawellemmet". Prasse (2010:14) calls the people "Iwəlləmmədǎn" and their language "tawəlləmmət". Tawellemmet looks like the best choice. - Lameen Souag (talk) 14:08, 9 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
