Plagiarism nonsense should be removed, wiki is not a propaganda outlet

[edit]

The accusations about plagiarism should then Be also added to Käärijä's page as well, since Electric Callboy even thanked him for copying his song as he got more streams thanks to Käärijä. Only fair, as this is such a reach. These so called accusations are baseless and added by sore losers. Tabloid stories and YouTube videos aren't accurate sources nor are Käärijä fan channels. At the very least the accusations should not be on top of the article. Wikipedia isn't a propaganda channel.

Furthermore, there are no proper sources for any other accusations than the Spanish singer claiming so, and even that is based on a translation of a translation of one singular story from Spain, only reported in Sweden by one media. Abba etc do not have sources at all. Thus it should be removed. Overall, due to the situation of Loreen getting threats and harrassement, this page should be protected from vandalism. 62.44.213.143 (talk) 05:11, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The similarity to ABBA has been reported in most of the participating countries online newspapers...
both in northern Europe, southern Europe, western Europe and eastern Europe as well as in the middle each.
Somebody that say that the song doesn't sound like ABBA must be in self denial. 2A0E:41B:DE5D:0:78C9:4F68:A495:8A31 (talk) 13:37, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Similarity isn't necessarily plagiarism. I think the article would be better if instead of plagiarism it discussed the similarities to other well-known songs.
The extent of similarities is relevant also because a big part of the points that the song got in Eurovision was from juries, and they had been instructed to award originality rather than similarity. TuukkaH (talk) 22:01, 18 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I agree this section is not needed. So many songs sound like other songs, this is not notable enough to be specifically mentioned anywhere else.
If the accusations turn serious E.g court case over copyright then sure, it can come back Nathanemmison (talk) 17:40, 19 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The transmission in the song sounds like the transmission in the song Frozen by Madonna. This has been mentioned in different places. 2A0E:41B:DE5D:0:78C9:4F68:A495:8A31 (talk) 13:33, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Commercial performance section

[edit]

I think the page needs a Commercial performance section to list the chart success around Europe, plus the streaming records it broke. [[User:Chronisgr|supersonic-bionic]] ([[User talk:Chronisgr|talk]]) (talk) 19:34, 29 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
