Tasha Tudor's passing

[edit]

I just reverted the changes on the main page, as no news outlets have picked up the story yet. I apologize if this hurts anyone, but I'd rather be a couple of days out of date than taken in by a cruel hoax.--uɐɔlnʌɟoʞǝɹɐs 05:31, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Additions

[edit]

Can someone add information about her gardening, corgis, dollmaking, and puppetmaking? I just saw a documentary of her on tv. It seems like these things are a big part of her life, in addition to her illustrating. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.234.37.172 (talk) 15:11, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Documentary

[edit]

I seem to recall seeing a documentary about her on PBS a decade ago. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.85.145.107 (talk) 13:28, 15 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Probate Court documents

[edit]

I am placing in quarantine:

"However, according to Marlboro Probate Court documents, over Tasha Tudor's lifetime she gave her son Thomas Tudor a half share in her home in Marlboro, VT, and over $2,000,000.00 in art work and other gifts, with a similar lifetime disposition to her two daughters."

in this edit, by user Thewoodstove. This is also a Single-purpose account (single edit account, actually).

There is no mention of anything like this in the Huffington Post article provided as inline source.

I believe a Wikipedia rule discourages citing court documents directly as a source. --Kiyoweap (talk) 03:53, 31 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

What Was The Outcome of the Lawsuit Contesting Tudor's Will?

[edit]

The article mentions that Tasha Tudor disinherited three of her children (Bethany and Efner were give $1,000, Thomas was left a piece of antique furniture) while the bulk of her $2,000,000 estate went to her son Seth and her grandson Winslow. The three disinherited children then filed a lawsuit contesting her will. To be complete, this paragraph should continue with the outcome of the lawsuit. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Younggoldchip (talkcontribs) 15:47, 12 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
