To tase or TASE
[edit]- Please explain your reasons for the redirect. 23:21, 11 May 2010 User:155.41.197.108
- I don't get your reasons for breaking the redirection from Tase to TASE. Please comment on Talk:Tase —Preceding unsigned comment added by 155.41.197.108 (talk) 23:24, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
- That last message was moved to here from User talk:Anthony Appleyard#Tase.
- The word "tase" lowercase often means "use a taser on someone". I put in a disambig hatlink to Tel Aviv Stock Exchange in page Taser, and a disambig hatlink to Taser in page Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. If another noteworthy use of the initials TASE turns up, that remains to be coped with when it happens. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 04:14, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
- I disagree, because "to tase" is not encyclopedical, unlike "taser" or TASE. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 155.41.197.108 (talk) 20:02, 18 May 2010 (UTC)
- Wikipedia's not a dictionary. We don't need make accommodations for alternative morphologies of the word taser. On the other hand, TASE is a common acronym for a country's stock exchange. I therefore propose restoring the redirect to Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.—Biosketch (talk) 15:02, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
