Tarsila was a Brazilian painter - why then, the names of her paints are in spanish here? Man, why it's so difficult to realize that people in Brazil DON"T SPEAK SPANISH! I'm changing the names. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.236.69.67 (talk) 20:10, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sloppy Date errors and weird date sequencing in text.

[edit]

The article states she returned to Brazil in 1942. I believe this should be 1922.

The article speaks of a return to Paris in 1933, the says "while in Paris at this time she painted ..... A Negra (1923)

A bit later it says she wrote to her family in 1823.

Also, in the earlier biography section it starts speaking of her art education beginning in 1936, then says she moved to Paris in 1920 as if this were later and an expansion of her conservative teaching in Brazil.

Unfortunately I don't have any independent sources to verify and correct this information, but somebody needs to do something since as it stands the errors in the text and the sloppy jumping around make the whole article questionable!! Tomawoz (talk) 04:27, 1 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
