[edit]CONCERT PIANIST I'm not sure that this isn't a bit of an exaggeration. Playing a couple of pieces of piano music at a couple of venues, mostly through your celebrity in other areas, may make you a creditable (and brave) pianist, but it's not what one usually thinks of as a 'Concert Pianist', is it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fairlightseven (talk • contribs) 10:28, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
Three's a Crowd
[edit]I saw that links to two "Three's a Crowd" websites have been added. I'm dubious as to their relevance, but have left them in. What do other people think? -- JediLofty User | Talk 13:59, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
Consistency
[edit]We have "Tompkinson" and "Tomkinson". Which is it? Ajarmitage (talk) 14:01, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
- It's "Tomkinson". I've gone through the article and fixed the incorrect spellings. -- JediLofty User ¦ Talk 14:04, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

Argentine Briton
[edit]The article lists Tara P.-T. as an Argentine Briton because of her father. However, I find no particular connection in his biography with Argentina. Could anyone explain these Argentine links? Cyan22 (talk) 17:08, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
Why is she famous?
[edit]I came here to find out why Tara is famous and I am still none the wiser. What was the event or appearance that brought her into the spotlight? 86.158.241.22 (talk) 09:51, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
I would like to know this too.. I didn't even know who she was until today while watching the wedding of Kathern and Prince William. That stunning electric blue hat, and her hair is what caught my attention. But again what exactly pu her out there? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.172.152.226 (talk) 00:13, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
- Like it or not, tabloid coverage. She's largely known, IIRC, for being a babysitter to Princes William and Harry and all the rest follows from that connection. Hengist Pod (talk) 00:26, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
- Tiggy Legge-Bourke was William & Harrys baby sitter. I agree tabloid coverage has made her famous, but I am intrigued to find out what the event was that first attracted the press. Putney Bridge (talk) 11:30, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
- My mistake; maybe I'm congenitally inclined to lump all hyphenated-surnamed people together. Or congenially so inclined. But certainly, she meets the notability requirement of "multiple reliable sources"- and, even tabloids apart, I'd say on balance she meets that criterion. Hengist Pod (talk) 23:23, 4 May 2011 (UTC)
- There is no doubt that she meets notability, but I am also here because I wanted to know where she sprung from. My first recollection of her was on a panel game and wondering who she was. After that she just kept appearing everywhere. My question is, what made her famous enough to appear on the panel game? Periglio (talk) 22:12, 7 March 2013 (UTC)
- I'm afraid she's an early example of the famous for being famous phenomenon. I wish she didn't deserve a WP article, but as others have said, she meets WP:NOTABLE. Personally I think she's a waste of skin and organs, and I'm sorry for her (genuinely aristocratic) parents. --Ef80 (talk) 01:05, 10 February 2015 (UTC)

- It is well known that she did not write the columns ascribed to her. For example, with the Sunday Times she would phone in what she had been doing during the week and a journalist (popularly believed to be A. A. Gill but actually Wendy Holden) would write it up humorously. Shouldn't the article reflect this? NOT a brain tumour, despite what unreliable tabloids say. She had a pituitary adenoma: the pituitary gland is OUTSIDE the brain.
May I request that the word "adenoma" in the article be linked to the article "pituitary adenoma". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 149.254.234.212 (talk) 11:19, 9 February 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Just as a reminder, we cannot use tabloid sources like the Mirror, the Mail etc on an article on a living or recently deceased person. --John (talk) 21:20, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
Godfather
[edit]According to her sister, "Contrary to some reports, Tara was not the goddaughter of HRH the Prince of Wales." Wherever can this misinformation have come from? Eric Pode lives (talk) 21:18, 15 February 2017 (UTC)
