I applaud the editors who have gone out of their way to add information and links to Tao Xingzhi. We owe them hearty thanks. Tao is a major figure who should be an example to everybody who is interested in education for the people, not just the elites. In particular, I think that this article should be assigned to students in the field of education so that they will know that the United States is not the only country to produce first rate thinkers in this area. So, in order for them to do further reading, I suggest that we use as much English language scholarship as possible, though always including references and links in Chinese for those readers who know the language. I hope that the editors who have done such a good job in adding material will go on to add more, especially about his thought and innovations and that they will use such scholarship as the articles by Yao Yusheng, the leading scholar writing in English. ch (talk) 17:35, 27 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
