section controversy"
[edit]I will soon revise the paragraph about the controversy (‘bullying’). It appears to me comparatively long and detailed. --Cholo Aleman (talk) 13:03, 19 October 2018 (UTC)
Redundancies and tendentious description
[edit]Dear editors,
I request the deletion of the last two sentences in Tania Singer’s first Wickie paragraph summarizing her achievements and life:
“In her role as director of the Social Neuroscience Department of the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences, she was accused of bullying and intimidating her employees.[6][7] An internal investigation confirmed these accusations, resulting in her resignation.[8]"
First, these sentences are redundant to the information described later in more detail in the controversy section below. Second, the lines are biased as they omit important information cited below such as that Singer voluntarily stepped down from her position as the anonymity of accusations was never lifted and therefore making real clarification of facts impossible. Finally, having such sentences in the first paragraph diminishes a long-term glorious scientific career with important contributions for the world and adds to the slander of reputation started by sensational press. Wikipedia should stay neutral and should not contribute in such witch-hunts. It may be worth noting that a similar request of mine on her German Wickipedia page has been immediately granted by the editors. Doris Kirch (talk) 16:19, 9 October 2019 (UTC)
