- The following references are can not be considered as reliable. Please replace them or prove that they are reliable.
- http://watercastletamansariyogyakarta.blogspot.com/ > replaced
- http://www.pps.org/great_public_spaces/ (link to exact article is not provided, I checked it too. It seems to some kind of nomination process for finding the best public places, which like wikipedia, anyone can comment or nominate.) > deleted
- http://www.yogyes.com/en/yogyakarta-tourism-object/places-of-interest/tamansari/ (tourist site) > replaced
- Other references need page numbers
- Y. Groneman (TBG.XXX 1885). Het Waterkasteel te Yogyakarta. pp. 414–436: The range of page numbers is too wide. Can specific page numbers which are referenced please be given.
--Redtigerxyz Talk 11:13, 2 April 2010 (UTC) I have read the article once, but if the references issue is the most important issue that needs attention. I will wait for the nominator's reply for 2 days on the issue and then take a decision to continue or abort this review. --Redtigerxyz Talk 11:19, 2 April 2010 (UTC)
- Is so much folklore necessary? > It's actually not a folklore, since it is written in the old manuscript as written in the text. The title is kinda misleading. In the old 18th century manuscript there is one information that is questionable, of this Portuguese architect called Demang Tegis. It is likely that Demang Tegis doesn't exist, but nobody can proof it. So the only "legend" here is the "Demang Tegis", but the rest is true historical facts. I will reorganize that whole section after I deal with the poor references.
- Page numbers and reference problem still exists. > working on that X_x
- Ref 6 is a bare link, format it using {{cite web}} > a user called betacommand keep removing the more important pdf link. I'm still testing that ref 6 --Redtigerxyz Talk 13:16, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
I appreciate the efforts by the cheif contributor to the article. I definitely see improvement but sadly, the GA rules comply me to not pass the article as yet. Also, I will not be able to pass the article on Friday (when the hold on period ends) if all issues with references are not resolved by then.
- All references should have the author's name, Title, publisher, publication date, page numbers, language (if foreign).
- All non-English references need language
- Ref 4 does not have date of publication
- ref 2, 4, 10, 15, 16 do not have page numbers.
- Preferably use {{cite web}}, {{cite book}} to solve the problem of inconsistent formatting of reference. Formatting is different for example ref 16, 17.
- The range of pages for Groneman still too long, more than 20 pages. If reader wants to correct verify any info, it becomes every difficult. I don't think for the information that the article uses the ref at this moment, all 20 pages would have been used, unless Groneman book has --Redtigerxyz Talk 13:58, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
- There is some problem in filling references page/pages needs filling, not both. --Redtigerxyz Talk 16:32, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
- The page numbers and reference issue is resolved. Excellent job in finding new references, though some of them are non-English. Preferably over course of time, replace them with English references.
GA PASS. --Redtigerxyz Talk 14:29, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
