Misquoted?

[edit]

Ibiza to get some pizza? I thought he said Pisa to get some pizza? Why would you go to Spain to get italian food? Lol. Calvin Watch n' Learn 21:00, 25 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

LOL. I copied directly from the source, so it's their error. I fixed it.— Tomica1111Question Existing? 21:04, 25 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I think

This will be the third single; if not third, then definitely fourth. Calvin Watch n' Learn 13:51, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Source for radio adds?

[edit]

Rihanna tweeted that she heard the song on the radio yesterday, which must mean that it has been released as the third single, no? Calvin Watch n' Learn 18:28, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Lol, even though Rihanna is reliable, radio hasn't been confirmed. Recently she asked for her fans to choose the next, so no decisions have been made. BenTalkThatTalk2me 21:43, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The song has, apparently, been sent to Rhythmic radio: [1] Holiday56 (talk) 12:52, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry that you couldn't see it. Here's a different page, listing various songs added to Rhythmic radio. "Talk That Talk" can be found in this section. Holiday56 (talk) 13:15, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
This is for the UK right? And where can we see on which date the song was sent? — Tomica1111Question Existing? 13:19, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The site lists US radio add dates. In the case of rhythmic radio, radio add dates are listed here, but the release date of "Talk That Talk" has not been listed yet/has already been listed, but removed in the process of page updating. On a side note, it appears that the song will also be solicited to mainstream radio (together with the Coldplay song "Princess of China", which she is featured on) and urban radio. Holiday56 (talk) 14:01, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, so probably the song will definitely be the third single, however, we should wait for the date. Thanks for the links Holiday ;) ! — Tomica1111Question Existing? 14:03, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Tomica: No problem.
Additionally, here are some stray observations, though I can't source these right now:
  • As a registered user of the site, searching Mediabase in the "Adds" section gives out:
    • Urban: 5 adds for "Talk That Talk" and 1 add for "Birthday Cake"
    • Rhythmic: 3 adds for "Talk That Talk"
    • Top 40/Mainstream: 9 adds for "Princess of China" and 1 add for "Where Have You Been"
  • "Princess of China" is already on the Top 40/Mainstream Mediabase songs chart (#43), which to me suggests that it may have already been solicited to radio. Holiday56 (talk) 15:11, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Talk That Talk (song)

[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Talk That Talk (song)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
