[edit]Article Evaluation I like that this article provides a basic understanding of talent management. Reading the article I was able to develop a basic understanding of what the subject means. The amount of references are sufficient but it might be a good idea to find more scholarly articles to add to the page. The statements are neutral and do not promote opinions as facts so that is a good thing. The language is readable to people of different educational levels. The only criticisms I have are that there are some minor typos and the sections could probably be expanded with more in-depth information and additional examples of real world implementation of talent management.

[edit]Overall, I think the article is comprehensive and has practical, useful information. There was one typo in the last sentence of the History section: I think "the" was meant, but it reads "he." I would suggest adding a link or an explanation of "NTMN"; I'm not sure what that is. The two main overall critiques I would make are the lack of citations in much of the middle section of the article and the sort of confusing heading layout. I think fixing those two things would make this a great article! Again, I really like how focused the article is on information that is practical and can be put to use, rather than theoretical or too academic. Laurenwheat (talk) 16:29, 21 April 2017 (UTC)

[edit]The first paragraph is useful and helps the reader begin to understand what a "talent manager" is. consider using an example in the first paragraph as you tell the reader that it is not for entertainment sector.
the major points of the article is how the "talent management" is implemented and evaluations, competencies, and talent marketplace.
The information is short and sweet which is done well, but again, consider giving some examples as to how it could be implemented within the field. Consider a person looking into going into the field of talent management.
the points are supported well with the evidence.
The article is clear and on topic and is supported by scholarly sources.
The only thing that's not apparent is the variety of perspectives. Consider putting a commentary point on a different perspective or commentary on the job career itself. most sources are correct, just elaborate on the source a bit more as well. The neutrality of the source is great, just a differing point of view. all entries were used in passive voice, no wording errors, consider being more elaborate on the "evaluation" portion or merge in with another source.

[edit]The article is written well, and it gives good introduction explaining what Talent Management means. The article does a good job on making sure that talent management does not refer to entertainers, rather it refers to talent in human resource. After the introduction of the article, there is a section where a brief history is recorded. The introduction made me understand that the talent management is a strategic planning, so it is something you learn and grow with it. The article uses sufficient sources to make the readers understand what information was meant to be conveyed. The article has a clear and specific focus, and it does provide scholarly supporting documents. the article uses sufficient in-text citations to redirect readers to the original source of the information. The article does a great job of being neutral. One of the most important aspects of a well-written document is that it can be read by everyone, so using a language that can be understood by all is very important. This article is jargon free, and the article uses very simple language so that it can be read easily. The article has multiple branches that show how talent management is being applied today, and what are the basis for the evaluation for the talent management. All in all this article is well written, with a lot of sources and well organized, and this article also succeeds to make readers aware that talent management is very critical in the workplace, and how can one go about finding the right talent for right organization. no images were used. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sanjogudas11 (talk • contribs) 15:33, 24 April 2017 (UTC)
