Takeo Takagi at the battle of the Coral Sea
[edit]Takeo Takagi was in command of the 5th Cruiser Division, from 1941, September 6, to 1942, November 10 [1]. At the battle of the Coral Sea, he had under his direct command cruisers Myōkō and Haguro. Rear-admiral Hara was in command of the 5th Carrier Division (Shokaku and Zuikaku)[2]. Vice admiral Takagi was the senior commander at sea, but it was Vice admiral Inoue who was in command of all the Japanese naval forces for ″Operation MO″, from Rabaul, onboard cruiser Kashima.Paul-Pierre Valli (talk) 00:20, 6 May 2016 (UTC)
