Confusing (and possibly inaccuarate) Information
[edit]The article states that the general was sentenced to death in 1946, but that it's unclear as to whether or not the sentence was ever carried out. However, the article also states that the general died in 1946. What's not stated is when, where and or how he died. The article's categories include "People who died while in detention" (or words to that effect), so there must have been some record at some time detailing what became of him.
This begs many questions;
- did he die in 1946?
- if so, what date?
- if he didn't die in 1946, when did he die? (Or is he still alive?)
- how did he die, if not by execution?
- was his sentenced reduced, commuted, overturned, etc?
Could the originator of the article (or anyone else with accurate knowledge) please clarify these discrepancies?
