My god!

[edit]
  • I just realized that during the video, Dwight asks "is that a real, functioning windmill?"Diocles
Haha yeah I was watching the episode the other day and heard that too. It's amazing the things you pick up the second (third or fourth) time around. Mrtea (talk) 03:59, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why isn't there an article on the holiday itself?

[edit]

I mean Take your Daughter to Work day is a theme that has been used by various shows, like Johnny Test.

There probably should be, it's just that no one has created it yet. You could create it if you want. Qutezuce 05:55, 15 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to know the origins of the holiday--who created it, how did it start, why was it limited to daughters, etc. Robert K S 05:29, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

trivia

[edit]

i think stanley's daughter describing the coffeehouse 'jitters' to ryan in the break room was a reference to the SNL skit 'the gap girls'. itd be a good piece of trivia -- (unsigned - 11 Jan 07)

(I fail to see the connection. Mindy Kaling said in an interview that she just liked the name "Jitters".) I believe the trivia about all the children having divorced parents is speculative. Stanley's first wife may have died rather than divorced. We know nothing about Stacy (maybe she's a widow, maybe she's a single parent). -- Raymondc0 11:33, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Dunder Mifflin

[edit]

I am going through several articles and changing instances of "Dunder-Mifflin" to "Dunder Mifflin" (no hyphen) as it is the proper "spelling" of the company name (see Talk page at Dunder Mifflin). Just leaving a note to say that I've gone through this page. :) Fieryrogue 16:14, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

The link to "Take Your Daughter to Work Day (The Office episode)" on the sidebar that appears next to the rundowns for all episodes of The Office does not take you to the "Take Your Daughter to Work Day (The Office episode)" page.

Instead it takes you to the regular topic of "Take Our Daughters And Sons To Work Day."

I'd fix this, but I have no idea how to fix sidebars. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.197.75.179 (talk) 05:39, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comments

[edit]
  • Add links to characters in lead (Toby etc) - otherwise, lead looks good
  • In plot section, take characters out of parentheses - (Abby) -> daughter, Abby. This makes it look less odd when you have actors' names in parenthesis
  • Can you fix the paragraphs in the plot section so one doesn't look so tiny?
  • It's been a while since I saw this episode. Michael gives the children the tour after they've already met many of the staff?
  • Link rest of characters in plot section and add actors
  • Cultural references section - discuss... discuss (in second paragraph, change?)
  • lack of or arching plot - an?
  • Put categories in alpha order :)

That's pretty much it! The only image used is free use and the citations look good. Putting on hold for seven days. Ruby 2010/2013 04:39, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I believe I have addressed all the issues. Thank you for the review!--Gen. Quon (Talk) 00:19, 6 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good. Passing for GA. Great work so far on the new season -- I have yet to watch any of it (actually, I'm a whole season behind). *Note to self, catch up! Ruby 2010/2013 18:28, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
