This album is only pop punk, stop adding melodic hardcore and especially punk rock to it — Preceding unsigned comment added by Realpunkmusic (talkcontribs) 11:39, 6 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia relies on published reviews for genre, not the opinions of various editors. What published reviews do you see supporting your view? Make sure to stick with the reliable reviews listed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums/Sources. Thanks. Binksternet (talk) 11:45, 6 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

No real punk reviews exist for this album because it isn't a punk album, punk rock is no longer made now (especially by pop bands such as fall out boy), this is a pure pop punk album, nothing else. All reviews that state something as punk nowadays cannot be taken seriously, http://www.altpress.com/reviews/entry/takethistoyourgrave This review says it is pop punk many times and nothing else Realpunkmusic (talk) 12:02, 6 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think a review written by someone called "Fueled by Ramen" is going to measure up to Wikipedia's hard policy of WP:Reliable sources. But maybe I'm wrong. You could ask the people at WP:RSN to see what they think. Binksternet (talk) 12:08, 6 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
"Fueled by Ramen" is actually the name of the record label they were on. I do believe altpress is a reliable source, but that being said, Realpunkmusic's reasoning is still invalid. Just because a review doesn't mention a genre doesn't warrant the removal of the genre as long as there's other sources that do support it. Sergecross73 msg me 13:08, 6 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

There are many more pop reviews that say it is pop punk, listen to the album yourself, there is absolutely nothing hardcore about it Realpunkmusic (talk) 12:14, 6 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The source currently there trumps your personal observation on Wikipedia. Sorry. Sergecross73 msg me 13:08, 6 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Sergecross and Binksternet are right. Noreplyhaha (talk) 10:48, 7 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
