Shouldn't this be called the Takanohana Stable with a redirect from Futogoyama?XinJeisan 17:44, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I went with Futagoyama as that was the name it was known for most of its history but on reflection I think you're right-- it should be the current name really. Pawnkingthree 19:30, 21 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New juryo wrestler

[edit]

Have added Sato Takanobu as a redlink. I expect he will have a different name soon. Tigerboy1966  20:59, 4 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I read that Takanohana will wait until he is promoted to makuuchi before giving him a proper shikona. But that may well be soon - he seems very promising.--Pawnkingthree (talk) 12:39, 5 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

"Founded in 2004"?

[edit]

Is this stable a continuation of Futagoyama stable, or a new one? I always assumed the former, although I see that the JSA's "Banzuke Topics" have noted that Takakeisho is "is the first Rikishi from Takanohana Beya to make his Komusubi debut since the present Shisho founded it on the 1st of February 2004." [1] No mention of any Futagoyama komusubi. I don't know how reliable we should consider the Banzuke Topics though.--Pawnkingthree (talk) 13:32, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Notable active wrestlers, coaches, assistants

[edit]

Since the stable is officially closed, should these sections be dropped? JRHorse (talk) 13:51, 27 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, this needs to be done with a number of the defunct stables. The wrestlers could be moved into the former members section though. Pawnkingthree (talk) 23:52, 27 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
