Tak in Turkish
[edit]"Tak" has two meanings in Turkish. The noun "tak," or "takmak," "to tak," means to attach (as evidenced in the Turkish Language Association dictionary [1]). The second meaning comes from Arabic (again, as evidenced in the dictionary) and means an arch decorating a path a ceremonial procession will follow. I don't know Arabic, so it would help if somebody tell me the exact Arabic origin so both meanings can be included in the disambiguation page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bilge Han (talk • contribs) 16:29, 5 February 2008 (UTC)

Tak Fujimoto
[edit]"Tak Fujimoto, an American cinematographer", is not remotely well enuf known that he could be a contender for "Tak" as the title of his WP bio. If you to want list him on Tak (given name), you can start that article and attach the {{given name}} tag to it.

Tak Sakaguchi
[edit]The G-translation of his :ja:WP article seems to indicate his Japanese nick is "Taku-chan", so it is unlikely our readers expect his bio to be at "Tak". If i am wrong, present some evidence. For now,
- * Tak Sakaguchi, actor and action hero of cult-Japanese action movie Versus
is removed.

Interestingly, currently there are more articles about people with name/surname Tak, most of them are Japanese or Korean. The page for Tak as persons' name/surname is Coming soon. --Love Krittaya (talk) 17:56, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
