I am reverting the pictures, because I really think the blue ones looked clearly nicer. I am not trying to start a revert war -- if there is a good reason to prefer the red picture, I can be convinced. Here are my reasons for preferring the blue pictures:
- color matches WP article style.
- black outline on vertices improves contrast/legibility.
- curved outer edges in large picture improve outer angles.
- picture looks more professional.
The unnecessarily straight lines in the large red picture lead to unnecessarily acute angles, and nothing in the main text requires that the graph should be drawn with straight edges. If the slight shadowing effect is really bothering people, then that could be removed, but in general the blue picture is much more pleasant to look at. I have left the red picture up on the Tutte graph page (I don't see any harm in multiple renderings). Matt Cook (talk) 08:26, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
