Notability
[edit]I have searched on the web and found only a blog [1] and a club site [2] to Genseiryu which mentions Taido. Could someone look through their library and perhaps find a book reference? Thanks. jmcw (talk) 11:14, 10 May 2013 (UTC)
There are no English-language books on Taido, but there are two in Japanese which are referenced on the page. The linked websites should also give an idea of how many people practice Taido. As a rough estimate, there are approximately 3,500 current practitioners (as determined via first-hand discussions with administrators of the respective national organizations). Ideas for references
[edit]Google Books search for "Taido martial art" and Google Books search using Japanese letters for Taido might yield results. Though there is a language barrier, not to mention certain sources are inaccessible, there are many hits and bound to be usable information. Caution, as English language search has many self-published works at first. -- TrickShotFinn (talk) 10:58, 6 January 2022 (UTC)
Additional English reference
[edit]It looks like there's a Taido textbook "Taido Kyōhan" by Mitsuo Kondo that was translated in ~2015.
It's two volumes under ISBN 978-91-637-8294-7
It appears to be available on archive.org and a blog website:

If I find some time, I'll try to add references from this book into the article. I'm not trained in Taido though, so it may be better for someone experienced to review or edit also. I'll ask the person I know who does Taido.
