Take more information from the Wikipedia page on neglected tropical diseases?
[edit]I have taken some sentences from the Wikipedia page on neglected tropical diseases. Should we take a bit more across or better not? EvM-Susana (talk) 22:44, 28 November 2014 (UTC)
How to modify the information in the first line?
[edit]I thinks this should be changed: This article is about the infection. For the organism, see Taenia saginata. To: This article is about the infection. For the organism, see Taenia saginata or Taenia solium or Taenium asiatica. or to: see Taenia_genus - but I can't figure out how to do this. EvM-Susana (talk) 21:51, 29 November 2014 (UTC)
Move here also information from the T. solium page?
[edit]There is information on the T. solium page about the disease Taeniasis, which could be moved to here. However, I find it confusing to differentiate between the information that should be moved to the Taeniasis page or to the Cysticercosis page as they are so closely related. Need an expert to figure this out. EvM-Susana (talk) 22:09, 29 November 2014 (UTC)
- Taeniasis is the general disease caused by adult Taenia, and cysticercosis is by the larvae (and not all Taenia cause cycticercosis) and much more dangerous. Do not move contents of the pages. In stead you can help elaborate the disease pages form each individual species. Each species has dictintictive features. I wrote these articles and are useful for educational purpose.
