A table game has a common and primary use. That is, as a class of games played in casinos. While not a perfect indicator, the inbound links show that the common use has been for the casino table games. Disagree, that is a US-centric view because that's its definition under US law. Meanwhile the rest of the world uses "table game" in a much wider, more generic sense i.e. any game played on a table or, like pool, using a table, which is presumably why we have a Wiki project called "Board and table games". See for example The Golden Age of Board and Table Games by Margaret Hofer (2003) and many others.
