The content of this page is contradictory to the main Mäurer & Wirtz page. Specifically here it says that Tabac "was created by Mäurer & Wirtz in 1959" while on the other page it says (with a citation) "In 1939, the company was being run by Hermann Wirtz with the support of his twin brother, Alfred, an engineer. Both brothers were Nazi party members. As part of the Nazi "aryanisation" programme, the company took over two Jewish-owned companies, one of which made the Tabac range it still sells to this day." 1959 is the year of the earliest published print ad on the Tabac website, I would infer that this is not a well researched statement.
Missing history of former ownership
[edit]This product was originally produced by a company taken from the Jewish owners and given to Nazi party members in Nazi Germany. Why is this information absent from the page? What is the benefit of erasing that history from a publicly maintained source of information? 81.15.109.105 (talk) 12:38, 19 September 2023 (UTC)
