TWA in Sailing

TWA is a common abbreviation in sailing. I'm not sure a separate wiki page just for TWA is warranted, but imho it deserves to be listed here. Especially in celebration of the start of a new Volvo Ocean Race (which i why i came here to look it up). PizzaMan ♨♨♨ 14:11, 22 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

True wind angle may warrant a new section in one of the sailing articles such as Point of sail. Once that's done, we could target a new redirect True wind angle to that section, then list it in TWA (disambiguation). At the moment, the new entry is likely to get removed per WP:MOSDAB, as it doesn't have a link to a Wikipedia article. Certes (talk) 23:47, 22 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, that's a better link. I've created a redirect so we can format the disambiguation page better. I've removed the reference, as they're not normally used in dab pages. I see it's already in Apparent wind, which is the best place for it. Certes (talk) 12:46, 25 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
