Fair use rationale for Image:Minwoo.jpg
[edit]Image:Minwoo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:11, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Disbandment?
[edit]Did the TraxX disband, or is it just a departure?-K-popguardian (talk) 18:07, 30 April 2019 (UTC)
- Like most K-pop groups, the company owns everything they produce. Likely the members leaving results in effectively disbanding, since the members on their own won't be able to use the same name and the company doesn't typically re-use a concept with new members. Evaders99 (talk) 04:08, 1 May 2019 (UTC)
@Evaders99: The name thing isn't really true unless there was a copyright on the name. Epik High, Sechs Kies, Sunny Hill, g.o.d, Brown Eyed Girls, Block B, Wanna One, and if you want a product from SM, Fly to the Sky, all switched labels under the same label without having to press charges for the name. Wheras groups like H.O.T., Shinhwa, SS501, Highlight, and T-ara that did have to change their names or file lawsuits already had a previously existing copyright on the name from the label. There is no way to confirm SM owns the name, so it's not really a foregone conclusion that they can no longer promote as TraxX, TRAX, or The TRAX.-K-popguardian (talk) 14:08, 1 May 2019 (UTC)
- I'm surprised they don't copyright things more. Thanks for the info! Evaders99 (talk) 04:24, 2 May 2019 (UTC)
You're welcome.-K-popguardian (talk) 05:04, 2 May 2019 (UTC)
@Evaders99: Sorry to ping again but the messages are really mixed. Very few sources have reported this and the ones who did haven't used the term disbandment. SM and their representatives made sure to clarify this as a departure, Jungmo said they plan to regroup as TraxX, but now Jay is thanking Jungmo and the fans for "sticking with TraxX to the end."
What is this at this point?-K-popguardian (talk) 23:12, 2 May 2019 (UTC)
- Personally I think it's all "press release" puff. Most Korean companies don't like to put out bad news to save face. But given that no sources are using "disband" in the short term, I'm okay not using that term for now.Evaders99 (talk) 02:17, 3 May 2019 (UTC)
@Evaders99: Jungmo has released a new solo single, "Peaches," under a new label, with no clarification of TraxX signing, or even if Jay signed. Is this where we declare the end of TraxX?-K-popguardian (talk) 18:06, 27 July 2019 (UTC)
- This probably does spell the end for TraxX, yes. Evaders99 (talk) 20:06, 27 July 2019 (UTC)
