Orbit altiude
[edit]One thing that this article does not make clear (and, I admit, this probably sounds like a stupid question to those familiar with the project) is the altitude of the satellite. Does it actually orbit at this lower (than most satellites) altitude that it is studying, or is it above it looking down? Unschool 01:20, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
- Fixed. It's in a 625 km circular orbit. -Loren 02:58, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks! Unschool
Propose move/rename of this page to the full name

More detail on the optical filter error and correction please
[edit]There seem to be conspiracy theories about this satellites results - so could we have more detail on "SABER had a flaw in its optical filter that caused it to overestimate water vapor levels; this error was discovered and the data were corrected" - eg. When and how was the error discovered? How was the correction or recalibration done ? - Rod57 (talk) 01:24, 10 November 2020 (UTC)
