This article connects to an important trend in games for social change. The reference on A People’s History of Board Games gives a historical overview and more current examples. There are secondary sources that describe how TESA creates games and describes a few of them. In particular, the Vice article is newsworthy because of the ironic timing of a labor rights game Kickstarter campaign running while Kickstarter employees are in a union drive.
