The Tena brand was first used for incontinence products by the European company Mölnlycke in the 1980's. Prior the the all in one product being called tena Slip, it was the Molnlycke Slipad.
The products mentioned in the article are the North American derivatives. Some of the European products are different. Tena Slip all in one products and Tena Comfort shaped pads are named Plus, Super and Maxi to signify their absorbency.
