Copy-editing
[edit]Have copy-edited the first section. There were places where I wasn't quite sure what the first writer intended - for instance, "An extraordinary movement reigned here". I hope I was right to think that "in the first row shards of loamy building material" referred to archaeological excavations. Apologies if I have distorted the meaning. --HJMG 22:55, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
I am presently working on sprucing up this article, starting with Early History. If anyone has objections to my liberal rearrangement of awkward sentences, please let me know. I'm trying to improve fluency without detracting from factual information. Also adding appropriate internal links. Will be working on citations once I've figured out what needs to be cited after copy-editing. --gardsmyg (talk) 06:23, 9 July 2008 (UTC)

Any comments, suggestions, other assistance, etc. would be greatly appreciated. My workroom also has random notes on the article littered about. Thanks. --gardsmyg (talk) 17:15, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
