Epoxy is waterproof? oops....

Quickset Epoxy is NOT "below waterline" or "marine" waterproof. That's almost urban legend. We should bust it. Even some 12 hour Epoxy is not. Most consumer Epoxy is not. Check their own specs. "Waterproof" means something. Words mean something. Hopefully Wiki too.

[edit]"Casting Resin" in major hardware stores (Lowes, Home Depot) and hobby shops (Michaels) is Styrene (it says so on the label). Methyl Methacrylate, used in "Super Glue" is a potent lachrimator and irritant, 12ppm exposure max suggested: http://www.epa.gov/chemfact/methy-sd.txt. Shjacks45 (talk) 05:53, 11 February 2014 (UTC)
