Company History Beyond Origins

The company history section stops after explaining the origins of Synovus precursor CB&T. The creation of the Synovus holding company should be added, and detail on the recent TSYS spin-off could then be moved to the end of the history section instead of the introduction. I'd point out, in a non-antagonistic way of course, that there is no point to editing this article. It is obviously another one of those articles where a company uses Wikipedia for free advertising. Or maybe I'm just being a cynical old goat. ;> Chicken McFuggits (talk) 10:46, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
