Species' name

IUCN and FishBase both list this species as Synodontis aterrimus. FishBase, in particular, lists S. aterrima as a synonym and marks it as a "misspelling of the species' name that must not be used": Synonyms of Synodontis aterrimus Poll & Roberts, 1968
