Name

[edit]

The article says at the moment "Although sometimes known as the Synod of Kells, the sessions were divided between the abbeys of Kells and Mellifont." This synod is almost invariably known as the Synod of Kells, which is its historic name. I do not know who first invented 'Synod of Kells-Mellifont' or 'Synod of Kells/Mellifont', and there may be no great harm in them as alternative names, but I doubt that the article name here is per Wikipedia:Naming conventions (common names). Proposed move to Synod of Kells

[edit]

Are there any objections to this article being moved to Synod of Kells? Strawless (talk) 23:42, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
