Frankly, It's A Mess
[edit]Yeah, this page is a mess, it is unstructured and largely uncited. I'm a member of the X-Files Wiki (I'm Deepthroat); I suggest you allow us to merge our partially finished (but well structured, accurate and cited) articles on this matter with this (more complete but structureless) article.
What do you think? I'd like a moderator reply on this subject before I begin because everytime I try to hugely modify Wiki I'm over-ruled and my changes are reversed. I'm not wasting my time like that again. Let me know. Thanks!
- Yes and no. Remember, Wikipedia is a not a fansite, and these articles are largely just that - written from 'original research' (such as the Vichy France statement at the start of the article - talk about original research) and read like bad fan articles. Dont get me wrong, I love X files, but remember Wikipedia uses a different writing style when it comes to fiction. That being said, this article lacks much, such as the '1960s syndicate' which I found to be very interesting (members such as J. Edgar Hoover).user:Pzg Ratzinger
Restructured
[edit]I reorganized the text and added more structure, but made no real changes to the text, and realize it's probably only a temporary edit - it still needs citations and cleanup. Frey 03:13, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
Action Consensus
[edit]I'm taking that part of the problem is that there are no Episode citations. Could you be more specific in the other cleanup items?

Fair use rationale for Image:Syndicate001.jpg
[edit]Image:Syndicate001.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
