publication

[edit]

This work was early on published partially (first two movements only), its finale substituted with a transposed version of the finale of Haydn's "Fire" (no.59) symphony, as a symphony attributed entirely to Joseph Haydn (see Hobokens Werkverzeichnis, also RISM) - the incipits of the first two movements of Hob.I:B2 are the same as the first two movements of Michael Haydn's symphony no.11. Published by JJ Hummel ca.1770 along with J. Haydn's symphonies 20 and 41 as "Op.10". Schissel | Sound the Note! 01:29, 24 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
