Tchaikovsky rococo variations

Tchaikovsky's Variations on a Rococo Theme can be compared. Tchaikovsky himself wrote the theme, aiming at a rococo (Mozartian) style. His piece has a solo cello part. Both pieces were written and premiered in 1877. The premieres were 30 November for the Tchaikovsky and 2 December for the Dvořák, only two days later.
