I'll review this. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 10:53, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Earwig finds some insufficiently paraphrased text; see here.
I think mousecork.com copied from Wikipedia, rather than the other way around. I've never seen mousecork before, so I couldn't have copied from it. CorporateM (Talk) 13:32, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Endpoint Protection also includes new features: "new" isn't wrong, since these features were new to the version discussed, but it's a bit confusing since this is over ten years ago. How about "The first released version also included features not in the earlier products, such as the ability to block..."?
 Done I just changed it to "introduced" (past tense) to make it more clear the features were new at the time CorporateM (Talk) 13:27, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • The disk footprints reported in the source are "nearly 100 Mb", not "100 Mb", and a projected 21 Mb; we can't report the latter as 20 Mb and it was just a projection.
 Done Modified it to "almost" and "projected 21" CorporateM (Talk) 13:35, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • The discussion of version 12 says it was released in February 2011, but the source says that was just an announcement, and that release was not expected until the summer. Statements from that source should be qualified with "expected to" or something similar.
 Done "released" -> "announced" CorporateM (Talk) 13:36, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Version 14 is the only currently-supported release: should be qualified with an "As of".
 Done CorporateM (Talk) 13:37, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • It's not a great idea to have a 2008 source (footnote 11) discussing version 11 to describe the current features. I understand that the feature set is pretty stable, but products do change and we ought to source this sort of thing from something more current if possible. Can you find something more recent?
I'll have to circle back on this a bit later in the week. CorporateM (Talk) 13:45, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • It uses aggregate information from users to identify malicious software: I couldn't see support for this in the given source; can you point me at the relevant text?
It's from the following text: "Like a true next-generation product, this one leverages machine learning, an extensive cloud system with a huge number of telemetry points around the world. In fact, the vendor claims that this telemetry network is the largest civilian network of its type in the world. Nonetheless, 175 million endpoints and 57 million attack sensors in 175 countries is a pretty healthy telemetry net." I presumed the 175 million endpoints it refers to is referring to users of the software. CorporateM (Talk) 13:42, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Probably best to put an "As of" on the 175 million user comment too.
 Done CorporateM (Talk) 13:39, 7 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The changes so far look good; let me know when you address the one remaining issue, re footnote 11. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 12:07, 8 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@@Mike Christie:  Done It was easier than I thought as a recent TechTarget article was an adequate replacement for each reference. CorporateM (Talk) 14:01, 8 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good; passing. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 23:05, 8 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
