Dog-on-a-stick
[edit]The reference in the article to Schur's inventing the "dog-on-a-stick" was added by editor User:Thee finn. The information has no citation, and a search reveals no verifiable source for this information. Also, the wikipedia article on the corndog credits the invention and/or popularization to Carl and Neil Fletcher in 1938 -- at a time when Schur was still in college. It also credits the hot dog on a stick idea to a Santa Monica, California eatery, circa 1946. Further, the "dog-on-a-stick" edit is the only edit ever made by User:Thee finn. Given all of the foregoing, I am deleting this reference. Should verifiable sources exist for the "dog-on-a-stick" invention, it can be re-inserted. Cbl62 (talk) 15:16, 12 September 2009 (UTC)
