- Article is neutral, free from copyvio, suitably referenced, and meets the required length—5x expanded on 12 December, the same day as this nomination. The hook is succinct, neutral, interesting, and reliably sourced—per the talk page, there is slightly differing information about Bloom's age of her retirement, but NYT is reliable enough for this hook. User is exempt from QPQ. This is good to go! A fascinating article that I had actually once considered writing myself—thanks for your hard work. – Rhain ☔ (he/him) 00:40, 13 December 2023 (UTC)

Dates of birth, retirement, and death
[edit]Looking for help! There are uncertainties and inconsistencies with dates of Bloom's life. The known to me sources: (1) do not state Bloom's date of birth; (2) provide year (2016) but not exact date of her death; (3) a photo in CBC source has exact date of her hire 24-Feb-1947, while her niece claims in the same article hire year was 1948; (4) all sources state she served 67 years until retirement, which places the calculated date of her retirement in 2014 or 2015, while CBC claims she retired in 2016; (5) her age at death is given as 96 by NYT but 97 by Readers Digest; (6) her age at retirement is given as 96 by Forward but 97 by HenryStreet.
