[edit]The Earl of St. Andrews might get a mention. --Wetman 02:30, 13 September 2005 (UTC)
So might the fact that she had already been married to someone else.
Excommunication of divorced Catholics
[edit](Although, as divorced Catholics are automatically excommunicated when they re-marry, her status and therefore his make for an interesting case.)
I'm deleting this line, as it's not applicable. A Catholic is not excommunicated when she/he is divorced and re-marries. The penalty of excommunication was imposed by the Third Plenary Council of Baltimore in 1884 and only applied only to American Catholics who remarried after a divorce from a valid marriage. This penalty was lifted by the National Council of American Bishops and the Pope in 1977. Therefore, the penalty of excommunication doesn't apply to divorced or remarried persons.

Sylvana Windsor, Countess of St Andrews → Sylvana Tomaselli – Every cite in the article calls her Sylvana Tomaselli. 137.205.238.124 (talk) 11:20, 7 January 2016 (UTC)
- Support per WP:NCROY, where it says under British nobility: "If a ... maiden name is clearly most commonly used for the subject, and is unambiguous, use it for the title ... make a redirect from the standard form" 1bandsaw (talk) 22:23, 8 January 2016 (UTC)

Doctorate?
[edit]I couldn't find any reference to her being listed as having a doctorate, and her university and college websites list her as plain 'Miss'. There is a Hello! reference to 'Dr' which they might have copied from this article. Anyone knows more about this?
Atchom (talk) 21:13, 25 June 2017 (UTC)
I was going to post on the same point. No doctorate is listed in the article. I would remove the bit about "Dr."
As at 9.5.2019, I can find nothing that says she has a doctorate, not even an honorary one, which someone would not normally use as a title, and certainly not as an academic, because such would be misrepresentation.
False link
[edit]Link: Lady Marina Charlotte Alexandra Katharine Helen Windsor. This just links-thru to her father's wiki page. If there is nothing to say about her, then the link should be removed. Valetude (talk) 00:27, 6 December 2017 (UTC)
